FutEra at CEEA’s Energy Business Forum: Shaping the Future of Canadian Energy
FutEra was proud to participate in the Canadian Energy Executive Association (CEEA)’s multi-day Energy Business Forum held in Banff, Alberta—one of Canada’s most influential gatherings in the energy sector. With over 400 industry leaders in attendance, the event fostered powerful insights, candid conversations, and forward-thinking strategies aimed at shaping the future of Canadian energy.
Our President, Lisa Mueller, had the honour of emceeing the event, which featured a keynote address by Alberta Premier Danielle Smith. Her remarks emphasized Alberta’s pivotal role in powering Canada—creating jobs, driving prosperity, and delivering affordable, reliable energy to meet global demand. She also called for the removal of policies such as the oil and gas production cap and net-zero power regulations, advocating for a future where Canada can thrive as a global energy superpower.
Premier Smith shared the stage with other distinguished speakers, including former U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry and author Vikram Mansharamani, reinforcing the event’s reputation as a platform for high-impact dialogue and leadership.
